Finxerunt

I work on the software development team at Finxerunt. Some things that we take care off are publishing the articles onto the website for easier accessibility. We also update the scholars and the team on the website so everyone is recognized in their achievement and for the work that they put in. We are essentially the team that designs the website and also makes constant updates to it whenever it's needed.


Career Explorers

Career Explorers allowed me to make this personal website possible. Over the six weeks in the program, I have brushed up on my skills and made a website that I am proud of (the same one that you are on right now). As the project comes to an end,the basic outline and structure of the website is already there. I just have to update this website whenever I have created new programs and also gotten other jobs as well. I was able to work with awesome peers, mentors and program supervisors who all encouraged me to have this project done. I learned more about the different coding platforms and now I can always add onto my website if I have a new idea for it.

    Futures and Options/Houlihan Lokey Externship

    Throughout this externship, I learned more about business management,investment companies and financial institutions. During the week, I also created a sales pitch with my team for a company within three days, obtained job and career readiness skills and also networked with the cohort as well. Overall, I learned a lot about the company culture and how to be prepared for a job in the future.

    NYC CTE/ClassHook Inc.

    During this internship, I was working with Classhook Inc. a company focused on finding educational clips for teachers. By using the clips from popular movies and TV shows, students are more likely to learn the topic and feel like the work they are learning is connected to the real world. I was able to find some clips to add into the inventory and I developed research skills, writing skills and also communications skills as well.
