This project is special to me because it was the first ever project that I did relating to text base java. It takes the most basic inputs like your day of birth and calculates what you are able to do at that age. If you aren't above 16 or 21, don't worry. The program will show you some cool math tricks so you feel included too.
This is a hard game to win against since the majority of the time the cards are not in your favor. The goal is to clear the whole deck of cards but as soon as you run out of options it’s game over. The goal is to match two cards out of the five to get 11 or if you have a jack, queen and king, you would be able to get it to delete out as well. Give it a try, you just might be the lucky person!
This is a game in which you try to get all the cards from the other player. If you guys have the same card, it would go into I declare war mode in which you each put down three cards from the top of the deck and then flip the fourth card on top and whoever’s card is the largest gets the card. It is interesting to play with more players since it is easier for you to either win or lose. That would make it more challenging and fun to play.
There are four ways you can play this tic tac toe game. It would be with your friend, a computer in basic mode or computer in hard mode. Lastly, you would be able to see two computers play against each other as well. Compete with the computer, the Ai, and your friends to see who is the ultimate winner.
My first ever hackathon was this project called Voting Made Easy with Major League Hacking. It was an experience as I got some insights as to what the hackathon pressure was like. I helped out with the research and also learned some of the codes that were used. We have mainly used CSS and HTML to ensure that the website is visually appealing when the user goes onto it.
This was the second hackathon in which I have participated. The topic of it was on global warming and the effects it had on people. It was a short interactive game in which the people would be able to click through it and learn more about how their everyday choice matters.
In this hackathon, we talked about the major humanitarian crises that were present throughout the world. We also made informational pages, donation sites and also card matching for kids who might be checking the website out.
